Welcome Skaters and Families to our 2012/2013 skating season. We are excited to get skating. This year we welcome two new Coaches to our club

Janice Alguire and Danielle VanAlstine.

Danielle was a skater in our club. She loves to skate and has shown great leadership skills as a Program Assistant over the years. She took the initiative to get her NCCP with Skate Canada. We are happy to have her coaching with us!

Janice will be coaching STARskate this year. Janice's qualifications include: Gold Figure, Gold Skills, Gold Freeskate, Gold Dances, Variation Dance, Junior Competitive Dance. Level Three Theory. Level Three Technical. Level Two Certefied Coach. She has a positive team approach to coaching. We are pleased to have her at Highpoint.

Geoff will be returning as our Partner Coach this year

N.B.  We will be holding a parent meeting to discuss what this season has in store for us. Thurs Nov 1. This meeting will be during the skating lessons

  • Just a reminder ... Skating programs are always cancelled when School Buses are cancelled due to weather conditions regardless of weather improvement.

Highpoint Skate Club is a non-profit organization and incurs additional operating & program costs not covered by registration. Fundraising is becoming more critical and we really need everyone to participate to ensure the campaigns are successful.

Gold Canyon Candle Sales will begin soon. Tell all your friends and family about these amazing candles and collect your orders. Forms and money are due back November 22nd just in time for Christmas!

Highpoint Skate Club, sanctioned by Skate Canada, is a small club that provides quality skating programs for the children and youth in our community. Our programs empower children and youth by teaching them new skating skills and giving them the opportunitg to master their skills. They are making new friendships and developing socially. We need skaters to help us grow!

Please tell a friend, neighbour or coworker about us.
